Q: When calling a Hobba do they know where you are?
A: Yes. When Hobbas see the Calls For Help that come through as well as the problem/question that has been sent, they can see who sent it and what room it was sent from. That way they can see who to go and help. :)
Q: How come when I apply to become a hobba, it rejects me straight away?
A: There's a really strict criteria that all Habbos must pass before they are even considered for a Hobba position. Once you get through the first stage, you still have to continue to prove yourself before you are accepted which is why so few make it. Although being a Hobba is a voluntary (i.e. you don't get paid), it's still a role of great responsibilty which is why we have to make sure we've got the right people for the job. :)
As all Hobbas have to sign an legal agreement, you have to be 16 years old or over to become one. Also, we reckon that once you're 16, you're also better equipt to accept the responibilty that comes with the job. You also have to have been visiting Habbo Hotel for three months and have logged on more than 199 times. Plus, you'll only be considered if you have a good behaviour record. If you don't meet one of these, I'm afraid you will be automaticaly rejected and asked to re-apply in one month.
This is habbos survival guide - HOW TO NOT FALL FOR
FAKE HOBBAS:
1.) If you ask them to show their badge and they say there not aloud -NOT A HOBBA!
2.) If they say 'I am A Hobba, so tell me your password and I'll give you free stuff' - NOT A HOBBA! (No staff are aloud to ask for passwords nor would they ever need to.)
3.) If they say that their badge hasn't been developed (made) yet and are still one -NOT A HOBBA!
Why they dont accept friend requests: Hobbas don't accept friend requests because there are many Hobbas on our contact lists already, and we need to keep in touch with each other for our work.
Some Habbos like to help us so they ask to be added. Thats great and we appreciate the offers, but it is more helpful to send an alert using the 'Call for help' button. This way all Hobbas can see what the problem is. It's nice of you to ask us but we have to say we don't accept. After all, Hobbas are here to help and as such are already friends of everyone, So please don't be offended if we refuse - we can't stretch ourselves around all of you at once :) If you want to be friends with a Hobba greet us with a cheery Hi! when you see us.
